The Plumas County Elections Office invites the community to witness the June 2 statewide direct primary election process firsthand. Voting activities and processing are conducted in Room 112 at the Plumas County Courthouse, 520 Main St. in Quincy.
Vote-by-mail ballot processing will be conducted at 9 a.m. on the following dates:
- May 27, 28 and 29
- June 1, 2, 10 and 17
The canvass of votes cast is set for June 22 and 23 at 9 a.m.
The elections office conducted a public test of voting equipment for logic and accuracy April 22.
“We welcome members of the public to attend, observe and ask questions about the election process,” said Elections Coordinator Tina Terrazas. “Transparency is important to us, and we appreciate your interest in how your elections are conducted.”
