The Modoc County Sheriffs say around 10 am Wednesday, deputies received a call from Emmanual Pochlsky of Davis Creek, stating his girlfriend was ramming into his vehicle.
As deputies were en route to the scene, a second call came in regarding a collision with one person trapped underneath a car. As deputies arrived at the incident, they learned that a UPS driver and tow truck driver with Pioneer Towing were able to work together to free the trapped individual who ended up being the girlfriend in the domestic dispute. Witnesses of the collision say they saw two vehicles speeding along the roadway just before the crash. It was caused when the girlfriend of Polchsky tried to pass him, but he swerved his car into hers, causing her to leave the roadway, colliding, and ejecting her from the car and trapping her underneath it.
Deputies say she had major injuries due to the collision, and Polchsky was arrested for domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon.
