The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 2 is making significant progress on the Cromberg Combined project, which is currently in its second construction season out of three.
The project focuses on rehabilitating the roadway on State Route 70 between Portola and Cromberg. Key upgrades include repairing and replacing culverts, upgrading guardrails and bridge railings, and ensuring pedestrian facilities comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
