County and Collaborative Invite Community to 3rd 2021 Wildfire Long Term Recovery Meeting

Recovery from the Dixie Fire and other recent wildfires in Plumas County continues, and the County’s Planning Department is inviting the community to learn more about the Long-Term Recovery Plan by attending one of several Community meetings held this month.

As the third installment of the 2021 Wildfires Long Term Recovery Plan Updates to the community, you can attend these upcoming meetings to hear from the county and Dixie Fire Collaborative to review the draft plan, how community input shaped the plan, and how you can be involved in the implementation.

Meetings begin today at the Lake Almanor Recreational Center in Chester at 5:30, Followed by a meeting in Taylorsville’s Historic Hall tomorrow starting at 5:30, then on the 16th in at 11 a.m. during the Dixie Fire collaborative monthly meeting at the Greenville elementary school. Meetings in Quincy and Vinton will be held on the 20th and 21st.
