Building back Greenville to be greener than ever following the destruction of the Dixie Fire, multiple agencies are collaborating to bring a new park to town.
The National Park Service, Dixie Fire Collaborative, and Plumas County are working to shape the park- to be named Wolf Creek Community Park- according to the community’s preferences. Community feedback has indicated a desire for gathering spaces with picnic tables and benches, an event space for markets and performances, play areas, walking paths, bike-focused areas like a pump track, and connections to Wolf Creek.
Yet now feedback is needed on two different park design concepts that have been developed incorporating these features. The Dixie Fire Collaborative wants your input on preferred key elements. Feedback will be collected through August 9, 2024. You are encouraged to review the conceptual designs and take the survey to share your preferences.
The plans and survey can be found on the Dixie Fire Collaborative website.
