California Milk Advisory Board has crowned a new dairy princess. Hayley Byrd of Corning was crowned at the Glenn County Farm Bureau office in Orland to represent district 3 which includes Lassen Plumas, Sierra, and Modoc counties among 11 others. Her title will further her pursuit of a degree in Agricultural Education and Communications with professional development training with a focus on presentation skills, advocating for the California Dairy industry, and learning leadership and business etiquette. As Dairy princess, Haley will play a key role on the board’s communications services team in meeting community relations objectives.
