To start the new year, the Susanville City council holds back-to-back meetings. First, a special meeting tomorrow, January 3rd, for labor negotiations for city employees, held in a closed session; the city administrator will detail any reportable action once the council comes out of the closed session. The meeting will be held at 8 am.
On Wednesday, January 4th, the council will kick off the start of its regular meetings with a light agenda. Two new items will be discussed, including considering the approval of amended golf course fees at Diamond Mountain Golf Course. The course has extended its playing season to open in March to November, weather permitting, and with that has come increased maintenance, staffing, and equipment upkeep. The council will consider increasing what you pay for green fees by 5 dollars, removing sr discounts on cart rentals, ten play punch cards will cost 20 dollars more, and annual memberships will increase by another 100 dollars.
The next item will be for the council to consider the Potential reduction in Public Facilities Impact Fees for the developer for Skyline Self Storage.
