Lassen County District Attorney’s Office announces the safe return of two children abducted from Susanville.
Faith and Trinity Coger, the 6 and 16-year-old children of Kyle Coger and Ashley Seals, were allegedly taken out of the area by their parents in October of last year without the authority to do so.
The Lassen County District Attorney’s office says Kyle Coger was picked up on an arrest warrant a few weeks ago. He is currently awaiting a trial set for May.
The mother, Ashley Seals, was arrested over the weekend. The DA and Lassen County Sheriff’s Office will coordinate bringing her back to the county to face her charges.
The recovery is credited to the months-long effort of the Lassen DA Investigations team, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI, along with help from the Susanville Police Department and Lassen County Department of Child and Family Services.
