Camping and visiting the Modoc National Forest will cost you more this summer. Starting July 8th the ntl forest will increase its fees at 9 of its developed sites. The campgrounds will now cost 15 dollars per site with a 5 dollar extra vehicle charge. The increase aims to help the forest service better maintain and operate the facilities. By next year you can expect the fee increases to expand further to include more recreational sites throughout the Modoc Ntl Forest that specifically include access to drinking water.
