Delays are coming to Highway 139 outside of Susanville as Caltrans gears up for a paving project. District 2 and All-American Construction, Inc. will begin on the Grasshopper CIR Project Monday.
The nearly 4 million dollar project will recycle existing pavement and pour an overlay on the SR, stretching about 32 miles north of Susanville—additional work to include shoulder backing and striping. The targeted work zone spans from 1 mile north of Eagle Lake Road to 5 miles south of Termo Grasshopper Road.
Starting Monday, August 7th, you can be prepared for potential delays during daytime hours on Mondays to Fridays, as traffic flow may be affected for up to 15 minutes in and around the construction areas. The project is currently anticipated to be completed by the end of September.
