Burns permits just got easier as Calfire launched a new online application process. Monday, the department rolled out the online program to streamline the process of obtaining a permit.
Through the program, you can get general, broadcast, and residential burn permits for properties within state responsibility areas. Calfire says applicants will receive email confirmations and have easy access to electronic records throughout the process. If a site visit is required, a Calfire representative will contact you and schedule a time to complete the process.
Calfire adds not only will the new online program provide help to homeowners, but will make the process of obtaining permits for the prescribed fire community more efficient.
