A Susanville Shooting Suspect is Behind Bars

On Monday morning, officers from the Susanville Police Department received information about a person of interest wanted for questioning in the shooting incident that occurred at a residence on Knoch Avenue on September 1st. At the scene, an unidentified 23-year-old man was discovered sheltering in a shed with a gunshot wound to his upper leg.

Investigations led officers to the suspect’s location at 320 Limoneria, where they identified the individual as 20-year-old Nicholas James Judlin of Susanville. He was promptly arrested without further incident and taken into custody. Judlin is currently being held at the Lassen County Jail on charges of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, with bail set at $200,000.
