High Speed Chase Starts in Janesville and Ends in Nevada, Covering 60 Miles in Under 30 Minutes

A high speed chase on HWY395 leaves a Stockton man arrested after covering nearly 60 miles in 30 minutes. Jovan Joseph Minor, age 28 from Stockton, was driving through Janesville on 395 towards Reno when a Susanville CHP officer saw his vehicle pass at a high rate of speed. An attempt to pull the vehicle over failed and the pursuit began with speeds topping 120 mph. A Portola CHP officer assisted with setting a spike strip near Red Rock road. Minor drove into Nevada, not giving up until reaching Peavine summit. Washoe county sheriffs and Nevada highway patrol arrived and booked Minor into the Washoe county jail on additional charges, while CHP will file for fleeing charges with the Lassen County District Attorney.
