In honor of Earth Day, Lassen County’s Chamber of Commerce is seizing the opportunity to revive the Hometown Pride Main street clean-up initiative.

Kelly Ackley, Executive Director, shared that the Spring Clean-up seeks to target areas along Main street in an effort to beautify the city, welcoming the community and visitors. Efforts will include pulling weeds, power washing the sidewalks, and picking up trash and recycling. Supplies such as gloves, vests, and trash pickers for volunteers have been donated by the City of Susanville. The first 45 volunteers will also receive a free hometown Pride T-shirt.

If you wish to help in the cleanup efforts, Volunteers can meet at the chamber at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning, and grab a free coffee and donut provided by Susanville Supermarket IGA.
