The Lassen-Plumas-Sierra Community Action Agency (LPSCAA) needs your help. The organization is a tri-county community action agency providing federal funds to community-based organizations specializing in health, nutrition, child care, food, shelter, clothing, and youth and family development. They assist local resource centers, crossroad ministries, Plumas Rural Services, and the Salvation Army.
The agency is looking for you to complete a Community Needs Assessment survey to help allocate funding to serve the community better.
A Community Action Plan (CAP) must be completed every two years for the California Department of Community Services & Development (CSD), which covers Lassen, Plumas, and Sierra counties. The multiple-choice questionnaire asks if you feel areas such as education, child care, and affordable housing are adequate or not or are unavailable throughout your county. Your responses will assist in determining where funding should be placed to provide better services to the community in which you live. You are encouraged to share the survey with agencies, family, and friends throughout Lassen, Plumas, and Sierra counties.
The information collected will affect funding decisions over the next few years.
You can find the survey by visiting Lassen County Family Solutions Division – Wraparound Process.
