Travel through the Beckwourth area has eased as Caltrans reopens the highway to one-way traffic control through the sinkhole closure.
Crews have completed temporary repairs to get the stretch of roadway between county road A23 and A24 open to traffic until permanent repairs can be made with better weather.
Be prepared for slowdowns through the area.
