The Almanor Recreation and Park District is set to host the 44th annual Chester Fourth of July Fun Run at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 4. This 1-mile run/walk will begin at the Collins Pine lawn and follow Chester's historic Main Street, concluding at the Bidwell House.

Craft Fair: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM in Jensen Hall
Fireworks Show: 9:00 PM
Enjoy live music, delicious food, games, and shopping from local vendors.
And for the kids—we’ll have water slides to keep them cool and entertained!
The night ends with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the Lassen sky.
This event is proudly organized by the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce as a way to give back and celebrate the amazing people who make our community special.

Come and join the fun! Our 37th Annual Paul Bunyan Mountain & Blues Festival is taking place at the Westwood Park. Featuring our Logging Show & Competition, Craft Booths & Food Booths and Live Music throughout the day. Kids area & Pickle Ball! Come to the Mountains and cool off while enjoying the day at the Festival!

Known for its eclectic mix of artists and focus on musical discovery, High Sierra delivers four unforgettable days of high-energy funk, soulful Afrobeat grooves, fiery bluegrass jams, psychedelic rock, engaging singer-songwriters, rootsy Americana, improvisational jazz, and more.

Blue Lake Camp. Camp activities include swimming, canoeing, crafts, archery, worship, and supervised free time. The first camp is for kids who are entering the 4 th or 5 th grades and is July 7-11. Camps are limited to 10 girls and 10 boys at each camp. Applications are available by emailing [email protected], or by calling 530-233-2647 and leaving a message with your name and phone number.

The Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce invites residents and visitors to the 63rd annual Gold Digger’s celebration in Greenville Saturday, July 19. This year’s theme, “Honoring Builders, Paving Our Future,” pays tribute to the contractors, builders, architects and tradespeople — as well as volunteers — dedicated to recovery and rebuilding following the devastating Dixie Fire of 2021.
