A string of thefts has been occurring throughout the Janesville area, and the sheriff’s office is investigating if they are connected. Beginning on the 27th, a break-in at the Janesville Artisan Coffee off Church street left the business with a shattered glass front door and several artists’ items taken. The Thieves also took the Lassen Humane Societies’ donation collection box. In the following days, several homeowners have been calling in reports about stolen items from their property, storage units, and multiple sheds being rifled through. The sheriff’s office is investigating, and no suspects have been identified.
