Due to the warmer-than-usual days, the Lassen National Forest Service will be extending the camping season at two campgrounds in the Almanor Ranger District. Both Potato Patch and Almanor Legacy Campgrounds will remain open through October 31st. Squeezing out a few extra weekends to enjoy the outdoors before the season closes most sites.
