The Judicial Review Commission brought charges of ethical violations and misconduct against a Lassen County Superior Court judge. A 50-page order from the commission, filed on September 12th, charges over 30 counts against Judge Tony Mallery, questioning his actions in the courthouse from as far back as 2013. Mallery has not been found guilty of these counts and will have to issue his response that will launch a deeper dive investigation. Mallery has sat as a Judge at the Lassen Superior Courthouse since his election in 2012. He now has twenty days to respond to the allegations. These charges are pending further investigation; Mallery is not convicted of any of the 30-plus counts he faces.
