Susanville City Council starts August with a light agenda for their first council meeting of the month. The city will discuss closing Sunkist Drive for the Superhero Fun run and Walk set for august 20th as well as call for notice to consolidate a general municipal election with the statewide election in November following the success of the petition for the city’s cannabis ordinance. The city will have to request to consolidate with the county and discuss the language of the ballot item during this time. Council meets Wednesday, August 3rd at 5 pm in City Hall.
