Lassen Community College has welcomed NHANES, the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey onto campus. The college will host the mobile exam center from May 13th through July 19th. A team of about 30 will be conducting the exams throughout their time here. NHANES with the Centers for Disease Control has been conducting the survey since 1960, collecting data on the health of the people living in the nation through health interviews and physical exams. To learn more you can attend a presentation from Dr. Tony Nguyen, the Chief Medical Officer of NHANES from the CDC. You can the community are welcomed t join May 18th at 2pm in the Middleton Hall on the LCC campus. Not all of Lassen County is able to participate in the survey, only those that have been randomly invited. Yet you can still learn more about this opportunity Lassen County has been chosen to be part of.
