LCC Clears the Air

Lassen Community College addresses public speculation on the college’s involvement with the Eagle Lake campground and Marina. Lassen College made an official announcement that the college is not responsible for the operations of either site. Additionally the Lassen College Foundation does hold the permit for the facilities at Eagle Lake and have subleased the facilities to Lassen Cougar Enterprises. Neither of these entities is under the reach of Lassen Community College. The Lassen College Foundation is an independently operated auxiliary organization and the college has no authority and has no plans to take over operations of the Eagle Lake Marina and Campgrounds.
