The stakes have been raised as a 10,000 dollar reward will go to whoever gives information leading to the arrest and conviction of last week’s shooter. On April 11th a person opened fire on an unoccupied car with a handgun that was parked at the Elder Springs Apartment in the Susanville Indian Rancheria. No injuries were reported and the assailant was able to leave the scene. In a second video released by the department the shooter jumped into what appears to be a red jeep getaway vehicle driven by another. Investigations have led detectives to believe the vehicle shot at was mistaken for another the shooter had intended to target. If you do have any information regarding the shooting you are to call the Susanville Police Department at 257-5603 or 257-2171.
