Prepare for Brief Slowdowns on Hwy 36, 139

Plan ahead for a brief delay along hwys 36 and 139 today. Caltrans is out completing grinding and chip sealing work. Along Hwy 36 just west of the 44 jct work will begin by 7 this morning with up to 20 minute delays. Lasting into the evening. Along 139 you can expect up to 10 minute delays south of county road A-2 starting at 7:30 this morning. Give yourself a little extra time heading out the door if you travel these routes.
