Lassen County Public Health will stop monitoring individual positive COVID cases as well as stopping all quarantine and isolation orders when receiving a positive COVID-19 test. Case investigations and contact tracing will also be limited for the majority of the community so that they can focus priorities to high-risk individuals or settings this comes with the ease of mask mandates this past Tuesday across the state as cases continue to decline and the virus enters an endemic phase. Public health will continue to test for COVID Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00am – 11:00am and you will get results by phone. The Lassen Cares website will continue to report on their site and facebook page, New and total cases, along with hospital and death counts, and % of positives and hospitalizations that are fully vaxxed. Public health urges you to continue to help slow any spread by following the CA Department of Public Health guidelines that have been in place.
