Jeremiah Shinneman of Sparks NV was arrested for driving while drunk after CHP found his vehicle crashed on the side of the road. Over the weekend around 1 in the afternoon Shinneman was driving north on 395 when he was unable to make a turn due to his impairment and crashed into a few postmarkers and a barbed wired fence just south of Loundsbury Dr. Shinneman attempted to flee the scene with a heavily damage vehicle and one flat tire. He only made in a half mile where officers were able to contact him. He admitted to his offenses and admitted to drinking prior to driving. Shinneman was arrested for DUI as well as for hit and run.
