Recently, MyChart reported a rise in scam emails that look like official messages about medical results. These emails include links to fake MyChart login pages. If you enter your login details, scammers can steal your information or install malware on your device.
Another scam email promises a free “Medicare Health Kit” to lure users into clicking dangerous links. MyChart warns users to check if emails include the name of their doctor or healthcare provider. Legitimate emails come from your healthcare organization or MyChart Central and show the organization’s name clearly.
Avoid clicking links in suspicious emails. Instead, open MyChart through the official app or website. If you receive a questionable email, call your healthcare provider to confirm its authenticity.
