Rural County Representative of California is continuing the fight to protect reliable communications for rural Californians.
Together with The Utility Reform Network and Communications Workers of America, RCRC is calling on the Federal Communications Commission to review the approval of AT&T’s request to discontinue copper landline service for approximately 184,000 California customers, raising concerns about the reliability of proposed wireless alternatives and reliance on federal broadband maps.
As telecommunications networks evolve, rural communities must not be left with less reliable service.
