Law enforcement officers responded to reports of a possible disturbance near Frenchman Lake Road and Highway 70 after dispatch received multiple calls from individuals in the area, according to dispatch information shared Sunday.
According to the dispatch traffic, callers reported hearing what sounded like gunshots, fighting, and children screaming near a campsite or trailer location off Frenchman Lake Road. Dispatch notes indicated that multiple vehicles and a trailer were observed at the site.
Authorities staged near the intersection of Highway 70 and Frenchman Lake Road while some individuals reportedly remained in or around the trailer.
