Janesville Fire Protection District was dispatched to a structure fire at 6:56 pm on April 21,2026 on Davina Drive in Janesville, California. When the units arrived on scene, there was heavy smoke showing with a fully involved structure on fire. Multiple units gave mutual aid, including Milford Fire, Cal Fire, Susan River Fire, California Correctional Center Fire, and LMUD. The fire was contained to a single-family residence. Due to the defensible space around the residence, the fire did not spread to the vegetation. All residents evacuated safely and there were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. We would like to thank our mutual aid partners and LMUD for shutting off the power.
