Heather Hardwick shared news about AB 2667, our deceptive vape bill, passed out of both policy committees unanimously! This bill bans the sale of deceptive vapes (highlighters, sharpies, hoodies, etc.) and penalizes distributors $50,000 per violation. This bill also allows schools to dispose of vapes, so our teachers aren’t stuck with drawers full of confiscated vapes.
It now heads to Appropriations, where the cost of the bill will be assessed.
