AB 1555 — College of the Siskiyous

SIGNED INTO LAW! This bill allows College of the Siskiyous to exempt up to 200 students living in Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath Counties in Oregon from nonresident tuition fees.
For a rural, border community like ours, state lines don’t always reflect where people live, work, shop, or go to school. College of the Siskiyous is an important educational resource for our entire region, and this bill helps remove a financial barrier for students just across the border.
