May 9-17, the 5th Annual Plein Air Festival in Quincy and locations throughout Plumas County. Hosted by Bear Creek Frames, this week-long event invites artists of all skill levels to paint outdoors and capture the landscapes of the Lost Sierra. Public events include the Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony May 15 at the Sierra Valley Preserve Nature Center and Art in Pioneer Park May 16–17 in East Quincy, featuring a Quick Draw Competition and Off-the-Easel art sale.
