Seneca Healthcare District announces the addition of Grace Vondra to its medical staff at the Lake Almanor Clinic. SHD said Vondra will be taking over the established practice of Lori Koehler, “continuing the high‐quality, compassionate patient care Lori has provided to the community.”

Vondra brings nearly two decades of diverse health care experience, with an extensive background in acute care, internal medicine, women’s health and critical care. She is a board‐certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with clinical and professional experience spanning major health systems across California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.

Most recently, Vondra served as a hospitalist nurse practitioner at University of California, Davis, Medical Center, following previous roles with Team Health, KP Medically Home and Sound Medical Group. Her earlier career includes a broad range of intensive care unit, postanesthesia care unit, emergency room and medical-surgical nursing positions across multiple states. This gives her a well‐rounded understanding of patient needs across care settings, said SHD.

Grace earned her Master of Science in nursing from Grand Canyon University and holds multiple active state registered nurse and nurse practitioner licenses. She maintains certifications in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support and pediatric advanced life support, and has received clinical nurse practitioner training across emergency medicine, internal medicine and women’s health.

“We are excited to welcome Grace to the Seneca Healthcare District team,” said Brady Haynes, chief operating officer. “Her depth of clinical experience and commitment to patient-centered care make her an exceptional fit for our community. We are confident she will provide continuity and excellence as she assumes Lori Koehler’s practice.”

Vondra shared that she is looking forward to becoming part of the Seneca community and continuing the trusted relationships Koehler built with her patients.

Vondra began seeing patients last month. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the SHD scheduling team at the Lake Almanor Clinic at 833-227-3743 or emailing [email protected].
