Modoc Senior Eliza Pena is headed to California State Wrestling Championships in Bakersfield, Ca. Eliza placed 3rd at the NSCIF wrestling championships and won her true second match to punch her ticket to the state tournament.
Modoc Wrestling took 8 Athletes to the NSCIF Championship tournament. All 8 wrestlers qualified for the second day. Three wrestlers placed, Eliza Pena 3rd, Vanden Main 4th, and Lauren Moriarity 6th.
The other athletes wrestled hard but faced some tough competition in their brackets.
