California Assembly to Hold Hearing on Human Wildlife Conflict and Public Safety Challenges

According to Assemblywoman Heather Hadwick, the Assembly Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee holds an informational hearing at 9 a.m.  Tuesday, Jan. 27 focused on Human–Wildlife Conflict at the California State Capitol, Room 444.

The hearing will cover pressing issues impacting communities across the state, including wolf conflict, big cat interactions and other wildlife-related challenges affecting public safety, agriculture, and rural livelihoods.

Members will hear expert testimony and discuss current conditions, management tools and policy considerations.

The public is welcome to attend in person in the committee room, or to tune in live on the Assembly’s website on the day of the hearing to watch remotely.
