Speed Reduction Reminder – State Route 44
CalTrans Crews will be installing the new signs. Please slow down when traveling in the area.**
A speed reduction is going into place on State Route 44, creating a one-mile 55 mph zone extending 0.5 miles east and west of the Silver Bridge Road intersection (PM 7.5 to 8.5).
Effective: Tuesday, January 13, with installation of new signs.
This reduction will provide motorists more time to safely enter and exit the roadway. Once signs are in place, the reduced speed will be enforced. Please pay attention and slow down.
