A low flying helicopter and gunfire may be heard outside of Herlong today, but the Lassen county sheriff’s office says not to be alarmed.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting training in the area of Jakes Lane in Herlong. The training will include live fire exercises and the use of their helicopter “Raven.”
If you are in the area, be aware the exercises will begin this morning.
