Lake Almanor’s Chamber of Commerce will help facilitate April’s Town Hall Meeting hosting a myriad of guests. As has become typical, the town hall will feature a guest speaker and have a panel of department heads from the county. This evening you can hear a presentation from Almanor Recreation & Park District and the Chester Main St. Connectivity Project.
The Almanor Rec and Park district has been diligently working on the Almanor Recreation Center with the newest addition this year, a community garden expected to start its season on June 3rd.
During the town hall, you can also participate in the question and answer session with the panel of guests, which will include Seneca Healthcare District CEO Shawn McKenzie, District 3 Supervisor Tom McGowan, Plumas County Sheriff Todd Johns, Chester Fire Chief Matt Balzarini, and The Almanor Foundation Executive Director Susan Bryner.
The Town Hall will be held at Mt. Lassen Theatre starting at 5:15 pm. There will be a virtual option for you to attend through Facebook, where you can also access a link to submit your questions before the meeting.
