Caltrans finalized the finishing touches to the Townhill break check project that will bring you minor delays just outside of Susanville on SR 36.
Crews will be expanding the existing truck brake check parking area. The project also includes new safety lighting, new striping, and pavement repairs.
You can expect one-way traffic control with a maximum delay of 10 minutes as work continues. One-way traffic control is anticipated to be in effect through Wednesday. The brake check area will be closed during this time.
The $1.5 million project is expected to be completed this spring.
