Back in January our officers responded to the Glenshire area for a report of two vehicles that were stolen in the early morning hours within the subdivision. It was soon discovered the crime incident was also related to a a third stolen vehicle from the Verdi, NV area, and also included several of the victim’s stolen credit cards having been used at businesses in the greater Reno area.
After an extensive investigation, Truckee Police Detectives identified Cristian Morales, 29, of Reno, NV as the primary suspect for these crimes. An arrest warrant was recently issued for multiple felony violations to include grand theft auto and possession of stolen property. Morales is currently in-custody at the Washoe County Jail pending extradition back to California for his arrest warrant.
