You are being asked to conserve energy today as the California ISO issues a statewide Flex Alert. Due to expected extreme temperatures, high energy use is likely in efforts to help cool your homes but the increase also puts stress on the state’s power grid. The ISO is urging you to reduce your energy from 4 to 9 pm this evening. For ways you can help conserve you can visit the CA ISO’s website.
