Firefighters will be continuing direct attack today as they work to strengthen and improve containment lines and evaluate opportunities for suppression repair.
A Damage Inspection Team has arrived, and initial assessments are underway.
The 6-5 Fire: 7,037 acres – 0% Contained, directly affecting Historical Chinese Camp
The post office, Chinese Camp Elementary School, and Chinese Camp Store & Tavern are still standing. However, we saw several other buildings including homes that are destroyed, along with RVs and cars.
