CAL FIRE – Office of the State Fire Marshal’s Arson & Bomb Unit is a specialized team of law enforcement officers and K9s trained to investigate the cause of wildfires and explosive-related incidents across California. These investigators use advanced forensic techniques, field experience, and highly trained dogs like Mocha to detect accelerants, gather evidence, and build criminal cases when arson is suspected.
