Multiple search warrants executed in Redding on August 1, 2025, led to the seizure of over $465,000 in cash and firearms. The operation began with a search at an illegal indoor cannabis cultivation site on Jordan Drive, where authorities discovered not only cannabis plants but also unpermitted structures posing fire hazards.
Further investigations targeted the residence of 34-year-old Low Saechao on Montana Sky Drive, resulting in the discovery of 21 pounds of processed cannabis, items suggesting intent to sell, 41 firearms (with several not compliant with California regulations), and more than $465,000 in cash stored in vacuum-sealed bags inside a safe. Saechao was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis for sale and multiple firearms violations.
Additionally, 38-year-old Taylor Walters was arrested in a separate inquiry, where firearms were found in an unsecured safe at his home. The cannabis grow operation linked to Walters was located on Millpond Lane, while his residence was on Smith River Drive.
Both cases are still under investigation and will be sent to the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office for further action.
