CAL FIRE/Butte County resources responded to an injured hiker in the Pulga area, located in a remote location off Camp Creek Road. Butte County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue also joined the effort. Given the challenging terrain, a BCSO helicopter was utilized for a “short haul” operation. Search and Rescue personnel rigged the helicopter and successfully transported the patient to an awaiting medic unit. The collaborative efforts between agencies highlight their commitment to serving the citizens of Butte County.
