Today, Heather Hadwick was officially sworn in as a member of the California State Assembly representing District 1.
The swearing in ceremony took place on the Assembly floor attended by family, friends, and local leaders in the California State Capitol. In her remarks after the ceremony, Hadwick emphasized her commitment to bipartisan collaboration and ensuring every voice in District 1 is heard.
“Today I am optimistic that our new class of legislators will work together to solve the most important issues facing our constituents. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this institution, and I am eager to get to work representing the North State with dedication and collaboration,” Hadwick said. “Together, we can make meaningful progress for the communities we serve.”
A proven leader and advocate for Emergency Management and Education issues, Hadwick brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the legislature. She has pledged to focus on affordability and public safety in her legislative priorities. Constituents are encouraged to share their thoughts and concerns with her office as she begins her work.
