GREEN FIRE UPDATE for 7-6-2025
Helicopters are working to slow the progression of the fire
We have two type 1 helicopters and one type 2 helicopter assigned to the incident. They will be dropping water in active areas to slow the progression of the fire. On the ground heavy equipment is improving and widening roads for access while firefighters are working closely with the READs (Resource Advisors) to protect the Devil’s Rock-Hosselkus research area and other cultural sites.
We would like to welcome California Interagency Incident Management Team 10. CIIMT 10 will assume command of the fire at 0600 tomorrow July 7, 2025.

Number of Personnel Assigned: 149
➡️ OBJECTIVES
Our objectives are to keep the fire east of Sulanharas Creek, west of the 27 Rd (Fender’s Ferry Rd) between Fender’s Ferry Bridge and Goose Gap and north of the Pit River. Firefighters are scouting the area for holding features with the highest probability of success to meet these objectives.
