“Gavin Newsom runs the most fraud-plagued state government in the nation – and is a fraud himself,” said California Assemblyman Carl DeMaio.
Maio offers the following response to governor Newsom’s “completely dishonest” State-of-the-State address:
“Gavin Newsom is America’s worst governor – and one of the biggest fraudsters who has ever held political office.
“Because of Gavin Newsom’s extremist policies and gross mismanagement, California has the highest cost of living, the worst job market, the biggest homelessness problem and the worst budget crisis of any state.
“If you thought the fraud in Minnesota was bad, wait till you see the epic levels of fraud that Newsom has created in California — $30 billion in unemployment funds stolen, $3 billion in food stamp fraud, billions in homelessness funds wasted, and hundreds of millions in money laundering to far-left taxpayer groups. And while Newsom allows all this fraud to continue, he is slashing core services to citizens and hiking taxes on small businesses.
“Instead of acknowledging the problems facing our state and offering remedies, Newsom pretends everything is great — or seeks to shift the blame to anyone but himself. Early on, it was COVID to blame, then climate change and now Donald Trump. With Gavin Newsom, there’s always someone else to blame – never him.
“And therein lies Governor Gavin Newsom’s only real talents: he’s a superb liar and an accomplished fraudster.”
